I’m Never Amusing

I’m never amusing
Maybe too didactic
So I appear confusing
Oh, twere I slapstick

I'm afraid of heights
So I can’t trip
In cream pie fights
Do a back-flip

Yet I can orate
With a sense where
Being great
None could care

So I am a comic
Not by my choosing
Using uttered static
Better off schmoozing

He was an Eidetic

He was an eidetic
Though illiterate
Replete with rhetoric
Able to berate
With vision myopic

All print stood near
Well literally blind
He could only hear
His mind would wind
In an atmosphere

Where he’d remember
Unable to read
Alphabetic ambler
Of a creed
Most stammer

So ebooks
Saved his day
Elemental crooks
Letting him stay
With intellectual schnooks
