Watering Plants, Dead Ants

Watering plants
disturbed many ants
first it 
wasn’t clear
what happened here 

soon I knew 
number of ants grew
alas
their tunnel
with flood did funnel 

my mistake 
would make
me pray
for healthy plants
or dying ants
