Where Odor Was Outstripped

I used blocks
Then pencil and paper
No writing unlocks
The meaning of vapor

We can read words
It’s prelinguistic smell
The message of turds
Where truths dwell

Physicians fret
Not on what they say
Rather regret
Lack of a disease’s decay

Hence our book
Frees us from reality
But who took 
Us to a mentality

Where odor
Was outstripped
By a stupor
Intelligently equipped
